Hey there!
I just wanted to take a second to introduce myself & tell my story to all you lovely folks! My name is future Mrs. Seighlyr Barnes and this is my sweetie, Buck! (my name is pronounced saylor, lol) and i am the gal behind the torch & saw at Salty Bronc Silver! It’s important to know who you’re buying from, so here’s just a little about me!
+ I am one lucky cowboys sweetheart— he’s as true as three cowboys & just as ornery. what a stud he is!
+ I am the momma to one handsome blue-eyed baby boy & he’s one joyous little fella!
+ ive got a couple fur-babies; a red heeler named bear and her grandson: a blue heeler named yote— short for coyote!
+ I have been lucky enough to be raised in the great texas panhandle & have lived here most of my life! our sunsets mixed with dancing buffalo grass are just somethin, i tell ya!
+ This cowboy life fits me best; wild, free, & true.
I started making jewelry in 2018 while i was in high school learning under the beautiful Liz Strobel & from then on it became a dream of mine to own my own brand and be able to bless people with a talent that God has so graciously given to me. When i graduated high school I moved around between Texas and Colorado and finally settled in Tucumcari, New Mexico where I got a certificate in Cowboy Arts & Fabrication under Native American Master Artist- Eugene Ross (Navajo) & spur maker- Wyatt Bishop.
When I launched Salty Bronc i honestly wasn’t really sure what to expect.. but i felt Gods hand leading me through what i couldn’t even believe was real. if im being honest i was scared out of my mind, but i wholeheartedly trusted my Heavenly Father. i am surely convinced that im living my best life no matter how hard times get.
My goals through Salty Bronc is to: 1. spread joy & love to others with my talents & to be a vessel of Gods light to others through serving them. & 2. be able to continue being a stay-at-home mom and raise my babies around God & horses(the two things i love the most).
if you’ve made it this far down i would already consider us great friends:) let’s grab coffee sometime if you’re ever around the Amarillo,Tx area
a sisterly piece of advice from me to you comes from the cowboy reference bible- James 1:22 “if you never saddle your horse & set on ‘em then you’ll never get far down that trail”. Trust in the LORD, cling to Him, & He will show you and take you to where He needs you the most.
here’s just a few extras about me if you dont feel like you know me well enough!
+ i love to wake up early and watch the sunrise, smell the sweet morning dew, & to watch the wild grass dance to the song of birds chirping
+ i love the smell of sweaty workin horses and the look of ol dusty cowboy hats
+ i also LOVE black coffee and ice cream, no matter the time of day or season.
+ sundays are my favorite day of the week- i love my church & worshiping our LORD while holding my sweet baby in my arms. if you asked me what heaven looked like, that’s what i’d tell ya.
thanks for spending some time with me! i hope you feel more connected with your jewelry artist; i look forward to serving you!
